What does the 'W' on my transcript mean?

A grade of "W" indicates that you withdrew from a course after the Date of Record. A "W" on your transcript does not affect your GPA. However, it can affect [SAP][1] and maybe future financial aid eligibility. If you're not sure whether or not withdrawing from a course will effect your financial aid, please stop by the Student Financial Services office to discuss it with a Financial Aid Specialist. *For more information click [here][2] to visit the MCC webpage and know more under the Drop- Add guidelines.* [1]: http://www.mcc.edu/financial_aid/fa_academic.shtml [2]: http://www.mcc.edu/records/records-geninfo.shtml
